The Rover P2 was a series of cars built between 1937 and 1948 by the British Rover automobile manufacturer and succeeded the P1 series of vehicles. The P2 consisted of five automobile models, which were constructed concurrently. The Rover 10 (1939-1947), Rover 12 (1937-1948), Rover 14 (1938-1948, with a 5-year interruption from 1940 to 1945 due to the war), Rover 16 (1937-1948, with disruption), and the Rover 20 (1937-1940). The car was offered in four or two-door body style with a front-mounted engine of four or six cylinders and manual transmission. A "free-wheel" feature was also provided. The Rover P2 series ended in 1948 and was succeeded by the P3 series.
