Simca Aronde (1951 to 1964)

The Aronde was introduced by Simca in 1951. It stood out as one of the brand's most important post-war models. Throughout its production, the Aronde went through several generations, primarily with inline four engines and displacements ranging from 1.2L to 1.3L. Its transmission was a 3 or 4-speed manual, with rear-wheel drive. Body styles included 4-door sedans, and some versions also included station wagons and vans. The Simca Aronde, produced until 1964, was an economical and accessible family car that left an important mark on the history of French motoring.
