The second generation Studebaker Champion was introduced for the 1942 model year. This latest generation of Champion was offered in two door sedan, four door sedan, and coupe body styles. This short lived generation was powered by a 2.7L inline six engine, and was only built briefly in 1942, before restarting production 1946 after WW2. Studebaker replaced the second generation with the Third Generation Studebaker Champion.
