Studebaker Commander - 5th Gen (1957 to 1958)

Studebaker introduced the fifth generation Commander for the 1957 model year. This latest generation of Commander was available in sedan, coupe, convertible, and station wagon body styles. These cars were fitted with a 3.0L inline six or 4.2L V8 engine, and were offered with manual or automatic transmissions. The Commander name was put on hiatus after 1958, only to reappear in 1964 for the Sixth Generation Studebaker Commander.
