Terradyne Gurkha (2006 to 2025)

The Terradyne Gurkha is a series of armored vehicles that were introduced in 2006. The Gurkha, which is named after the famous military soldiers, is a highly capable off roader that features a range of armoring options, for various military, diplomatic, or civilian uses. The Gurkha is based on the Ford F-550, and is built in SUV and pickup body styles. Variants included the Light Armored Patrol Vehicle (LAPV), Civilian Limited Edition Vehicle (CLEV), Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), and Rapid Patrol Vehicle (RPV). Regardless of variant, these cars were powered by a 6.7L Turbodiesel V8 that sent drive to all four wheels through a 10 speed automatic transmission.
