Toyota Crown - S80/90/100 - 5th Gen (1974 to 1979)

The S80/90/100 was introduced in 1974 as the fifth generation of the Toyota Crown. It was available in several body styles such as: 4-door sedan, coupe, wagon and pickup. It mantained its rear-wheel drive configuration and offered 4 and 5-speed manual transmissions, as well as a 3-speed automatic. Engine options included the 2.0L inline four and the 2.6L inline six engine. In this generation a diesel engine was also introduced with a displacement of 2.2L. It was also the first generation of the Crown to feature crumple zones and other passive safety enhancements. The S80/90/100 was produced until 1979, when it was replaced by the S110 sixth generation Toyota Crown.
