Toyota Hilux - N20 - 2nd Gen (1972 to 1978)

Making its debut for the 1972 model year, the Toyota Hilux second generation (N20) followed the first generation (N10) with some updates. A more comfortable interior followed by some exterior ergonomic updates. 1975 brought a mid-generation redesign that brought the truck to new heights. In North America, no longer was it called a "Hilux," but instead, it was now referred to as the Toyota Pickup. Engines offered in this generation were the 1.6L (12R) and the 2.0L (18R). The second generation of the Hilux ended in 1978 but did live on to a third generation for the rest of the world.
