Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 to BJ42 (1974 to 1984)

The Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40, BJ41, and BJ42 are short-wheel-base (SWB) variants of the 40 Series. Featuring the B, 2B, and 3B Toyota diesel engines, these vehicles were fairly common in some markets other than the United States. The 3.0L “B” engine is more commonly found in vehicles between 1974 and 1981, and the 3.2L "2B" between 1980 and 1982. Starting in 1981, the 3.4L "3B" is considered the most widely used in this version. As with most other 40 series variants, they were in produciton in Japan until 1984.
