The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 is a variant of the 40 Series. With a slightly longer wheel-base than the FJ40, the FJ43 was produced for a limited number of markets around the world until 1984. Like the FJ40, it was available with the 3.9 liter Toyota F Engine (105hp to 125hp) until 1974 (pre-facelift) and upgraded to the 4.2 liter Toyota 2F Engine (135hp) from 1975 until the end of production (post-facelift). Because of its more limited production and larger cabin configuration, its become closely followed by collectors and enthusiasts alike. Professionally restored samples have reached some of the highest price points in the entire Land Cruiser market.
