Toyota Mark II - 1st Gen - T60/T70 (1968 to 1973)

The 1st Gen - T60/T70 Toyota Mark II was introduced in 1968. It was a more luxurious and spacious version of the Toyota Corona, marking the beginning of a line focused on comfort and performance. It was available as a 4-door sedan and 5-door station wagon, with rear-wheel drive. Transmissions included a 4-speed manual and a 3-speed automatic. It was equipped with four cylinder engines, such as the 1.5L, 1.6L and 1.9L. Notable about this generation was that it introduced Toyota to the executive-oriented midsize sedan segment, laying the groundwork for what would become a very influential model line in Japan. The 1st Gen - T60/T70 Toyota Mark II was produced until 1973 and was replaced by the 2nd Gen - X10/X20.
