The 1st Gen Toyota Camry Solara was a stylish two-door coupe launched in 1999 based on the Camry sedan, blending comfort with a touch of sportiness. It offered two engines: a 2.2-liter inline-4 with 136 hp and a 3.0-liter V6 with 190 hp, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. A convertible version was introduced in 2000, expanding its appeal. The Solara stood out for its smooth ride, refined interior, and available premium features like leather seats, a JBL audio system, and a power moonroof. Production ended in 2003, as it was replaced in 2004 by the second-generation Solara.
