Toyota Supra Twin Turbo - 4th gen (A80) (1993 to 1998)

The Toyota Supra Twin Turbo (4th Gen - A80) featured the 3.0 liter twin turbocharged Toyota 2JZ-GTE inline 6 engine rated at 321 horsepower, significantly more than the Supra base model, which came in at 220 hp. The JDM version, known as the Supra RZ, was rated at 276 hp. The Twin Turbo received a new six-speed manual transmission (except 1996) or a four-speed automatic with manual shifting mode. Most A80 Supra Turbo's for the US market were delivered with as semi-convertibles, with targa-like removable panel known as Sport Roof. A smaller number were delivered with a fixed roof (coupe). In the UK most, if not all, were delivered as coupes. All 1997 models in the US included badges indicating "Limited Edition 15th Anniversary". The Supra was withdrawn from the Canadian market in 1996 and the US in 1998.
