Toyota GR Supra 3.0 - Base Model - A90 (2020 to 2026)

The 5th-generation Toyota GR Supra 3.0 Base Model was introduced for the 2020 model year, powered by the same 3.0-liter turbocharged BMW B58 inline-six engine in the 3.0 lineup. The engine produces 335 hp in 2020 models and was bumped to 382 hp starting in 2021. Transmission options include an 8-speed automatic, with a 6-speed manual becoming available in 2023. The 3.0 Base Model (not to be confused with the entry level 2.0 GR Supra) sits below the 3.0 Premium variant, offering the core Supra driving experience without the additional luxury features of higher trims. As the generation progressed, differentiation between the Base Model and higher trims became less notable - with the one consistent feature being the leather upholstered seats with alcantara inserts vs. full leather upholstery on the Premium and other variants. The Base 3.0 GR Supra was produced until 2026.
