Triumph GT6 - Race Cars (1966 to 1973)

After the great racing success of the Spitfire and their incredible achievement at Le Mans 1965, Triumph reconsidered the project and went ahead with higher involvement in the racing world with their new GT6. This car now featured a six-cylinder 2.0-liter engine with 95hp and several hours of racing know-how. The GT6 managed to secure the SCCA E-Production class title in the hands of famous names such as Mike Downs, Brian Fuerstenau and Bob Tullius. The GT6 continues to be a popular choice for vintage car racing due to its great performance, competitiveness and reasonable operating costs.
