The TVR Griffith 400 was a sports cars that was introduced for 1965. Continuing where its predecessor, the Griffith 200, left off, the Griffith 400 was a front engined two door coupe, featuring a similar body shell, but with improvements to rear visibility and new taillights. These cars were powered by a Ford 289 (4.7L) V8 engine, which sent 271hp to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. The TVR Griffith 400 suffered from a variety of production and shipping issues, resulting in only 59 examples being built before 1967.
