The TVR Tuscan was a series of sports cars introduced in 1967. The Tuscan was initially powered by a Ford Windsor V8 (4.7L, 5.0L) engine, but was later joined by a 3.0L V6 option in 1970. These two door coupes both used 4 speed manual transmissions to send power to the rear wheels. A total of 174 examples of the TVR Tuscan were made before the end of production in 1971. TVR would use the Tuscan name in the future for the Tuscan Challenge and the Tuscan Speed Six.
