Vauxhall Wyvern (1949 to 1957)

Successor to the Vauxhall 12-4, the Wyvern made its public debut in 1949. The mid-size family car was built with two or four doors and a convertible top option. The Wyvern was given an inline four-cylinder engine that powered the rear wheels. The vehicle blended English and American styling and was constructed in five model variants. The LIX (1949-51) and EIX (1951-57) were both parts of the Wyvern family. Production ended in 1957, and the Vauxhall Victor succeeded the car.
