Volvo V60 Polestar - 1st Gen (2011 to 2018)

The Volvo V60 Polestar is the high-performance variant of the V60 estate, developed in collaboration with Volvo’s motorsport partner, Polestar. Produced from 2015 to 2018 within the first generation V60 lineup, it marked Volvo’s entry into the niche of factory-tuned sport wagons. The V60 Polestar features a sleek five door wagon body enhanced with aggressive aerodynamic elements, including a front splitter, rear diffuser and 20 inch allow wheels. Early models were powered by a 3.0L turbo inline 6 producing 345hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, while later versiones adopted a 2.0L twincharged (turbocharged and supercharged) inline 4 delivering 362hp and 347 lb-ft, showcasing Volvo's transition to smaller, more efficient powertrains. All V60 Polestar models feature AWD and are paired with a six speed automatic transmission in early years, later upgraded to an eight speed Geartronic automatic. Production of the first-generation V60 Polestar ended in 2018 making it a rare and collectible performance wagon that paved the way for future Polestar engineered hybrids.
