Lola Cars International, better known as Lola, was an English race car manufacturer that was established in 1958. Founded by Eric Broadley, Lola was one of the most highly regarded race car manufacturers, building chassis and full cars for racing series and events such as Formula One, Formula Two, Le Mans, IMSA, and many others. Notable models built included the MKI, T70, and T212. Although Lola cars met with great success in many disciplines, their attempt to create and operate their own F1 team led the company into great financial problems, eventually leading to its demise in 2012.
