1931 Ford Model A

Late 1931 indented firewall. Great driver/touring Model A, mechanically excellent- everything works as it should.
If you are looking for a touring vehicle, this is it. It is happy cruising at 55mph all day, no overdrive needed. Try that with the original engine.. With the syncro transmission anyone with manual transmission experience can enjoy it!
The paint is not perfect, but if you want a car you can drive while the weather is nice the body and paint can be perfected during the winter months when it can't go out..

The car was purchased as a paint and interior restoration, not driveable. I went through it front to rear and fixed years of poor quality repairs and worn out/damaged parts.

.340 touring cam, new adjustable tappets, modern valve conversion.

New Brassworks radiator, Vintage Precision thermostat, no leak pump. Aries muffler. Runs very well, lots of power, reliable.
6v positive ground-
Rebuilt starter, rebuilt distributor with NuRex modern point set, rebuilt generator, Nu-Rex solid state cutout, rewound horn. Has turn signals and all lighting is LED.
Mitchell Manufacturing synchro trans #3 (+10% gearing) $3000.
Balanced stock flywheel, new clutch and pressure plate, universal joint.
New brakes with cast iron drums, new linings, hardware, rods, etc.. $2000.00
Front end and steering box have been rebuilt.
Original shocks in good condition
New front and rear spring from Eaton Spring. $1000.00
5 new (2022-23) Lucas tires/tubes/rim strips. Spare tubes.

I put a lot of time into making this a reliable driver that can be driven in today's traffic safely, while not making any modifications that can not be undone..
I have a box full of receipts for all the parts, and all spare parts and model a specific tools go with car.
