This 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Lungo Cabriolet has a remarkable provenance spanning nearly a century. One of only 188 8Cs built, it was first delivered to Italian royalty - Prince Filiberto of Savoy-Genoa - who showed it at the 1933 Monte Carlo Concours d’Elegance. The car then passed to racing driver Vittorio Belmondo, who updated its coachwork with distinctive aerodynamic enhancements including a waterfall grille. After wartime ownership in Switzerland, UK enthusiast Brian Eckersley cherished it for 43 years, using it as his honeymoon chariot. The current owner acquired it in 1999 and commissioned a meticulous restoration by Cremonini Classics, after which it became a concours favorite at Villa d’Este, Pebble Beach, and other prestigious events.
