What’s special about this listing
1934 Ford Model 40 Cabriolet – Hot Rod – LT1 Corvette Powered Price: $25,000
Description: Looking for a turn-key entry-level hot rod? This 1934 Ford Model 40 Cabriolet REPLICA by Street Beast is a cruiser. It currently sits in my garage and I need to make room. This is a Fiberglass Car.
Drivetrain & Mechanical:
Engine: LT1 Corvette (350 CID) – Runs great. Power steering and Power Brakes. Has AC Compressor but nothing else.
Transmission: 200R4 Automatic (Overdrive).
Rear End: Ford 7-inch.
Suspension: Mustang II front end with Disc Brakes; Drum rears.
Wheel/Tires: Brand new wheels and classic White Wall tires.
Condition: Runs, Drives, stops and shifts.
Exterior: Paint shows well with a few minor chips from road use. Includes a top (functional, but older condition).
Interior: Complete and functional, though a bit dated—perfect canvas for someone to customize to their own taste. It does have Power windows that go up and down.
Maintenance: All lights are functional. It has a slight power steering leak and needs a transmission pan gasket from sitting. Neither issue requires immediate attention; it can be driven as is. NOTE: This has been sitting and only driven around the block for the last 2 years so I would trailer it home just to be safe.
The price is fair and reflects the build.
Cash Only.
Titled in Florida as a 1934 Ford in my name. I will not leave title open if you purchase it.
Located in Sebring, FL. Message me to schedule a time to come see them in person.
Not to interested in trades unless its very special or rare and has original paint and original numbers matching engine.
Added Note: Being totally honest about this car, when the engine was installed I assume, they used the original wiring harness from the Corvette. Meaning they left all of the un attached wires either hanging or balled up. Personally, the first thing i would do to this would be to replace the harness with a painless harness to clean it up. To me, it just looks bad however it does work as is. It has great bones and with some tinkering, this would be a $35k car with little improvements.
