1939 Ford Tudor Hot Rod Traditional Rick Dyer Build

If you're looking for a solid, honest hot rod with real personality, this 39 Ford Tudor is worth your attention. Originally built by Rick Dyer, a well-known traditional hot rod craftsman, it still carries the unmistakable built-to-be-driven feel his cars are known for.

This is an all-steel, rust-free Tudor that's been enjoyed, cared for, and recently refreshed with a brand-new interior. It's not a fragile showpiece. It's a car you can hop in, drive, and enjoy without stress.

Originally built by noted Detroit Hot Rod builder/racer Rick Dyer in the 1980s. and a Total Performance, legendary John Vermeersch-built engine! I rescued this piece of hot rod history from further decay and replaced the rusted-out toolbox area and deck lid. Restored and replaced windows and felt and restored them to working order, and replaced the interior with a set of power Volvo bucket seats covered in stunning NOS Porsche Plaid-- an Homage to Henry Ford's Scottish Heritage. This is a great-looking Art Deco car —the last of its era! I have a book of the restoration that goes with the car, and the receipt .
