1940 Ford Pickup Hot Rod

This ’40 Ford pickup blends classic lines with dependable modern upgrades. Under the hood sits a Chevy 327 (casting #3782870) topped with FiTech fuel injection, backed by a 3-speed automatic and 10-bolt rear end. Power steering, aluminum radiator, and power front disc/rear drum brakes make it an easy cruiser.

Suspension includes a modified stock frame with coil spring/tubular control arms up front and leaf springs out back. It rides on rally wheels with trim rings wrapped in 215/65-15 fronts and 225/70-15 rears.

The gray interior features a tilt column with a wooden wheel and Auto-Meter gauges. Odometer shows 1,965 miles. Body and paint present well for driver quality—older finish with some imperfections, scrapes under the nose, and wear on the running boards. Diamond plate bed, and a Coca-Cola box battery cover round it out.
