Known as, “The Smooth Criminal” – this 1950 Chevrolet 3100 Custom Pickup is rolling artwork. The attention to detail is evident throughout. This original California truck was the perfect candidate for a one-off build that was designed and completed by Dana Macleod in 2020. The original sheet metal fabrication work included chopping the roof 3 ½ inches, frenched in headlights, rocker filler panels, stretched running boards and rear bed. The laser straight body was refinished in Opera Red Metallic. It was outfitted with all new tinted glass and a new front chrome grill. Some of the custom exterior features include dual mirrors, windshield wipers, LED headlights, 1952 styled door handles, tail light brackets, smoothed bumpers including rear exhaust outlets. The bed was finished with inner panels, fabricated wheel wells, wood floor, fuel filler and hidden tail gate latches. It rolls on new 18” Boze Flo-Lite Phantom black wheels with polished accents. The wheels are mounted to new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 V2 tires. The interior cabin was decorated with black leather by Seamless Custom. Some of the custom upholstery includes the headliner, sun visors, door panels, console and bench seat with center arm rest. Some of the custom interior features include a satin black dash with pinstriping and glove box, Autometer carbon fiber gauges, Vintage Air Conditioning, Kenwood stereo, Lokar shifter, cup holders, billet door and power windows handles, Ididit tilt steering column with billet levers and 14” Billet Special Formula black anodized steering wheel. The organized engine compartment with custom firewall was finished in satin black that match the exterior and interior accents. It's powered by a GM Performance Connect and Cruise LS3 V8 engine and 4L70E automatic transmission package. The engine is factory with 480 horsepower and runs excellent. The engine has Clayton Machine Works coil covers, a polished cold air intake and a Holley oil pan. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with electric fan. The engine breathes through custom headers and dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers. The power is transferred to the pavement through a Ford 9” POSI rear end with 31 spline axles and 3.73 gears. It rides on a custom No Limits Engineering chassis that was powder coated black. Some of the custom features include rack and pinion power steering, tubular control arms, coil over shocks and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes. This vehicle has been completely serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that's included. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
