This is a beautiful, 75% restored 1954 Ford F250 with 4 speed on the floor manual transmission, manual steering and manual brakes. The engine is a rebuilt 1956 Ford Y-block 272 with a new Holley 2bbl carb. (I have the paperwork showing what was done on the rebuild costing over $3000.00). The original 6 volt electrical system was converted over to 12 volt with all new wiring/fuse box.
Practically everything has been replaced with new, reproduction parts including door glass, vent windows, interior door mechanisms, exhaust system, Monroe shocks (rear air), fuel pump, Holley 500 cfm carb, plugs, plug wires, aluminum radiator, brakes/lines, hoses, steering wheel, bumpers, wood bed and much more! (I have all the receipts.) This truck is SOLID! There is little to no rust and only a few minor areas of bondo. Otherwise this truck is all steel. The frame is solid with no rust through. It could use a new steering box ($150.00) as there is about 6 inches of steering wheel play and the engine could use a professional tune up. (It runs strong but not as smooth as it should under load). The paint is very nice. Not show quality but still shines!
This is a very rare model and is in excellent condition! I have spent the last five months on the restoration. Included are the original owners manual, books, catalogs, receipts and some extra parts to include some of the replaced original parts from 1954! Also the original 1954 Indiana license plate!!
The only thing that does not work are the windshield wipers. The arms/blades are new and the vacuum motor was replaced with a 12 volt electric motor. I believe the only issue is the wiper switch (original vacuum) needs replacing and the system be wired up.
Shipping and delivery is the sole responsibility of the buyer! I will do all I can to make pick up as smooth and hassle free as possible for the buyer. (I have a shipper I can recommend that is very reasonable and reliable!)
Full payment (cash only) is due upon pick up which must be within three days of purchase (if adjustments need to be made I am flexible).
