The Ford F-250 was introduced for the 1953 model year as part of the 2nd Gen F-Series. Previously known as the F-2 and F-3, the F-250 was a 3/4-ton pickup truck that was available with a selection of engines. These engines ranged from a 223ci inline six to a 317ci V8, with both manual and automatic transmissions available. Both stake and long truck beds were available for the F-250, which was built until 1956, when Ford introduced the 3rd Gen Ford F-250.
