• Petrol tank has some internal rust (addition of a fuel filter is advised)
• Steering box, gear box, and differential unit show some seepage (as typical of XKs; not accumulating on pavement).
• Differential unit has some excess play (as typical of XKs)
• Hub splines and axle splines are somewhat worn; front wheel splines are worn.
Other imperfections
• Original leather seats are stressed and torn in places
• Body finish has noticeable wear, defects and touchups
• Vinyl soft top has shrunk (but serviceable in a pinch)
• Sliding plexiglass side curtains need repair
• Panel light and heater motor switches faulty; clock not working; (used replacements come w/car).
