This custom, resto-mod 1957 Chevrolet Nomad received a frame-off, rotisserie restoration that took two years to complete. This freshly built Nomad is powered by a GM Performance LS engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped with a custom built exhaust and stainless steel mufflers, aluminum driveshaft and a Ford 9-inch rear end. It sits on a upgraded chassis with 4-link and adjustable coilovers at all four corners. Stopping power is provided by Wildwood 4-wheel disc brakes with polished calipers.
The Southern body was placed on a rotisserie, then stripped and metal finished, several coats of primer were applied and blocked, along with multiple coats of Deep Sea Blue Pearl, Three coats of House of Kolor show clear were applied, then it was cut and buffed. The exterior also features all restored brightwork, taillight gas filler, shaded glass, and all new handles and hardware. This Nomad is sitting on 18-inch front and 20-inch rear Billet Specialties wheels.
The custom interior design features full Italian diamond-stiched leather, a full length custom console, fully reclining front bucket seats, tilt steering wheel, a Vintage Air system, Dakota Digital guages, upgraded carpet with sound deadening insulation and a custom audio system with a backup camera display.
