1957 Ford Country Sedan

Still Perfect After All These Years! This is an Exceptional car and becoming very rare in such great condition.

1957 Ford Country Sedan four-door wagon with its toreador red and pewter silver paint is beautiful outside and has a matching interior. 292 V8 engine, Fordomatic transmission, power steering, all new drum brakes and lines, with power brake booster. The interior is very nice, with 3 rows of restored seats that sit comfortably. It has seatbelts so you can take the whole family.

The dash all across looks very good and original with rebuilt speedometer and gauges. It has the original stock radio. No a/c, still there is room for one under the dash. The original rebuilt vacuum assisted windshield wiper motor would be a candidate for replacing with a two-speed electric wiper motor, wipes steadier when it rains and at a stop sign. The lights, turn signals all work well including the dome light. New electric harnesses from front to rear. The exterior paint is very nice, it has a few scratches and nicks, but still an eye-catcher when cruising down the street. It has a very rare, chromed roof rack, take your surfboard for a ride. This car drives nicely on the 15” tires. The chrome grill is custom and bumpers are all good. The underside floorboard panels were replaced brand new including the custom-made spare wheel well, all nicely insulated.

There are lots of upgrades, but still a few things left for the next owner to play around with. We are the second owner and bought it in California when our kids were small, we would take them to the drive-in movie, and at times chauffeured bridal groups to the church on time. It's a car with history. If you're looking for a station wagon you should take a close look at this one. Trivia: next to a standard van, the wagon looks somewhat smaller. I think it'll do just fine at a local car show and you will be proud to own this piece of art.
