1957 Ford Thunderbird

This is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird in Starmist Blue with two tops, a white hardtop, and a white canvas top. The car is in excellent driver condition and has had an older frame off restoration. It has the 312 cu. in. motor with a 4-barrel carb and the transmission is a 3-speed automatic. The interior is in great shape with no tears or rips in the seat.
The odometer reads only 2891 miles, but I was told by the previous owner that when the car was restored (before he bought it), the odometer was set back to zero. Or it could mean that the car has turned over 100,000 miles. I really don't know the true mileage.
This T-Bird starts right up every time, even if it sits for a few weeks in the garage. The engine was rebuilt, again no paperwork, but it sounds great and is a powerful motor. The tires are American Classics and they are whitewalls. The size is 205 75R 14 and are radial tires. The steering, brakes, and windows are all manual, no power as the car was restored to stock condition.
The body and frame are very solid with no rust or rot ever. It is a zero rust free car that is as solid and tight as the day it left the factory. It drives very well on the road and accelerates nicely. The front end suspension was totally rebuilt by the previous owner not that long ago. I had it inspected recently, and the mechanic commented on how tight the front end was. It has had new tie rods, bushings, brakes, shocks, etc.
The paint is very presentable, but is showing some minor chipping around the door edges, and very fine spiderwebbing on the rear trunk near the rear fins. It's not flawless, but it looks great and is about a 10-footer, and it gets a lot of horn tooting and thumbs up as it goes down the highway.
