1958 VW Beetle baby blue in color with white doors. Car rims are white and match the white paint on exterior doors. Car has original radio, car jack, and full size tire. Previous owner had engine upgraded with low miles so it ran very strong and shifted smoothly.

Car is very solid. Car has black floor carpeting which is in very good condition. Car has original radio, car jack, and full spare tire. Vins numbers under hood and rear bench match. In 2011, electric ignition was installed. Car exterior paint and interior in overall good condition.

In late 2012, car went into storage due to quickshifter becoming lose. Gas tank was filled and gas stabilizer was added before car went into storage. Car was stored in garage from 2012 - 2024. During summer 2024, car was rolled out of garage to start prepping it for the road again. It's remains outdoors but covered thoroughly by two layers of protective car covers. Car battery terminals were cleaned on 1/12/2025.

Car is in need of 4 new tires, quick shifter needs to be reattached, oil needs to be changed, and car will likely need a tune-up.

I'm trying to find a good home for this beautiful machine. Ideally, it would be great for a VW enthusiast to buy it as-is in its current non op condition who will put in some sweat equity to ultimately get this car roadworthy. I don't not have any inspection reports to offer. If prospective buyer wants to conduct an inspection, that can be arranged but will be at the sole expense of said interested party. Any inspectors will not be permitted to turn car on car in its as-is condition without first taking care of suggested maintenance to prevent damage to the vehicle.

Car has been registered non op with DMV since it went into storage so not owing any fees. Buyer of this car will be responsible to tow this vehicle from its current storage location at their own expense. No smog checks ever required for this car. I have pink slip in hand.

In order to move the vehicle, vehicle will need 4 new tires or have rollers installed. Once 4 tires are installed new or used, the car can be loaded into a trailer or tow truck. I would highly suggest the use of mobile Tire Rack tire service to both deliver and install the tires. Otherwise, if you already have 4 tires with rims (i.e
Rollers), you can bring them and install them so that you can move the vehicle.
