Volkswagen Beetle RSi - New Beetle (2001 to 2003)

The Volkswagen Beetle RSi was a limited production variant of the New Beetle that was introduced in 2001. The RSi was only offered in the coupe body style, and was powered by a 221hp 3.2L VR6 engine that was paired to a 6 speed manual sending drive to all four wheels. The RSi also featured drastically altered suspension and a distinct body kit, which aided in handling and aerodynamics respectively. By the end of production in 2003, only a total of 250 examples of the Beetle RSi were built.
