1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300
A true icon of Italian automotive design, the 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300 captures the spirit of post-war European motoring with elegance and verve. Styled by Franco Scaglione at Bertone, this compact 2+2 coupe features timeless, flowing lines and balanced proportions that remain captivating decades later. Beneath the sculpted hood lies a spirited 1.3-liter twin-cam inline-four engine, delivering lively performance through a precise 4-speed manual gearbox—hallmarks of Alfa Romeo's engineering excellence.
Originally conceived to bring sports car excitement to everyday driving, the Giulietta Sprint offers a dynamic yet refined experience, with nimble handling, a lightweight chassis, and the unmistakable soundtrack of a rev-happy twin-cam. This particular model year represents the tail end of the original Giulietta line before the Giulia took its place, making it a sought-after piece of Alfa heritage.
Whether admired for its aesthetics, revered for its driving character, or cherished as a collectible, the 1962 Giulietta Sprint 1300 is a shining example of Italy’s golden era of automotive design and performance.
Our car
This stunning 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300 is a beautifully restored example of one of the most iconic Italian coupes of the post-war era. Delivered new in Italy and registered in Pisa—where it spent most of its life with its original owner—the car was lovingly used as a weekend driver and carefully preserved throughout the decades.
Finished in its original Rosso Alfa, the car underwent a recent and comprehensive nut-and-bolt restoration to concours standards. The restoration included a full engine- and glass-out respray, with attention to preserving factory details while renewing all trim, chrome, and exterior fittings. The interior was completely retrimmed with new cloth upholstery and restored panels, staying true to the original design and materials. As a tasteful upgrade, a classic Nardi wood-rimmed steering wheel has been fitted—adding a touch of vintage motorsport flair while remaining period-appropriate.
Mechanically, the Giulietta has been completely overhauled: the 1.3-liter twin-cam inline-four and 4-speed manual gearbox were fully rebuilt, and every mechanical system—from suspension to brakes—was restored or refurbished to factory specifications. The result is a car that not only looks showroom-fresh but drives with the lively spirit that made the Giulietta a favorite among enthusiasts in its day.
A rare opportunity to acquire a Rosso Alfa Giulietta Sprint that combines authentic Italian provenance with concours-level presentation, tasteful enhancements, and mechanical excellence—ideal for collectors, weekend tours, or premier vintage events.
