The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint was the first variant of the Alfa Giulietta to be produced. Introduced in 1954, the Sprint was a 2+2 coupe designed by famous Italian design house Bertone. Over the course of Giulietta production, the Sprint would see four main variants built: Sprint Normale (base model), Sprint Veloce (performance model), Sprint Speciale (2 seat coupe), and Sprint Zagato (coachbuilt). These variants were all fitted with a 1.3L inline four engine in different states of tune. When Alfa Romeo introduced their Giulia in 1963, the Giulietta Spider, Sprint, and Sprint Speciale were all rebranded as Giulia cars and fitted with a larger 1.6L engine.
