1964 Ford Thunderbird

This is a one of kind extremely hard to find Coupe with the white-on-white color combination. Good luck even finding a picture of a 64 white on white coupe. This Thunderbird is a 2-owner car. The first owner had it for 51 years and it was kept in the garage. This was then sold in 2015 to the second owner. He fell on hard times soon after and the car sat in his backyard under an awning until I found it 2 months ago. The good news is that the engine has been professionally rebuilt and overhauled using .60 oversized pistons bumping displacement to 401cu in. (see before pics of engine and internals) Great engine and cruise-o-matic 3 speed automatic transmission. This model is equipped with A/C and front and rear power windows. The original seats are still in great condition with no holes or tears. The headliner and carpet needs replacing. It is only missing the wiper arms, b-pillar moldings and the rear trim which surrounds the 2 taillights. It also has a brand-new lock set as he could not find the key. There is heavy rust on the body panels, but these parts are still available new as reproduction pieces or used and are not very expensive. (see Ebay for reference) The chassis and suspension are complete and still in good driving condition with all 4 hubcaps. The interior is not missing any parts. I am still finishing up the restoration of the outer engine parts painting everything individually with newly painted valve covers, air cleaner, vacuum tanks, engine, etc. It also has a brand-new battery, starter, alternator, water pump, hoses, heater valve, belts, wires, spark plugs, cap, rotor, points and condenser. I am selling it as is with a rebuilt engine and mostly revamped engine compartment. I have been an automotive expert for the last 35 yrs specializing in the best cars on the planet. The price is as is but I am willing to offer any buyer the opportunity to finish the project for them to fully restored condition at an additional agreed upon fee.
