This one family-owned 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 2-door hardtop is powered by a 283ci 2v V8 engine that sends power to the rear wheels via a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. About the model

The first generation of Chevrolet Malibu debuted for the 1964 model year. The Malibu was introduced as the top trim level for the Chevrolet Chevelle, and was offered in sedan, convertible, hardtop, and station wagon body styles. A wide range of inline six, and V8 engine options were available, as was a top of the line Super Sport 'SS' variant featuring a 5.4L V8. Production of the first generation lasted until 1967, and the model was replaced by the Second Generation Chevrolet Malibu.
