1965 Chevrolet Corvair

BEAUTIFUL second generation Corvair. If you've been looking for a good one, look no more! These cars are becoming highly sought after and to find one this detailed and sorted is next to impossible. Everything has been done. Nothing left to do but drive, show off and enjoy.

1965 saw the first year of the redesign of the Corvair. It was acclaimed from day one by the automotive press. Arguably the best designed car of the 1960's. Bigger V8 cars were tough to compete with then that book by, you know, that Nader guy! Well, the Corvair fell out of favor to many by the 1970's. Nowadays they are making a come back and these 65-69 models are the ones most want.

This particular example is finished in an original shade of Mist Blue and has a matching blue bucket seat interior. All professionally restored. High quality paint, I'd say an 8.5 out of 10. Very nice clean chrome with accessory bumper guards and three prong wire wheel covers. Just a fantastic presentation.

Mechanically this Corvair has the optional, larger 110 HP flat six and that's mated to a bullet proof Powerglide automatic transmission. Mechanically this car has been fully serviced and maintained. New carburators from Wolf Enterprises with an electric fuel pump and electronic ignition. No mechanicals needs. A true turn key car.

Two of it's most recent owners were very fastidious. EVERYTHING in this car works as it should. Even going as far as replacing the dash light bulbs for fresh crisp lighting at night (Not an easy job!). The Custom Auto Sound AM/FM stereo works great and required no dashboard modification to install.

Bottom line here is that if you are looking for one of the best late model Corvair coupes on the market right now, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one.
