1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza

custom corvair convertible it has taken lots of trophies i just do not use it anymore and it runs great i just took it for a 50 mile drive and it ran out great. it needs nothing located in muskegon mi.

i posted tons of photos they should tell the story. i built this car back in the early 2000's rebuilt the engine and trans with corvair under ground parts. the engine was built up a bit but it is a power glide trans so it is not a fast car anyway.

i built it for car show and took lots of trophies with it. it drives out good runs good.

i have a drop box file with the same photos and some videos of it running and the under side if you want tovsee them ask in an email so i can send the link.

i just lost interest in doing car show after 30 years and so the car just sets in the garage. i only do car club events now and those are ice cream runs and go to lake michigan now and then.

please ask any questions. you can bring a trailer have it shipped or do what i would do and drive it home. remember it is a 61 year old car so some thing can happen but i built the car so i would not have to worry about breakdowns. and in the years i had a belt break i do carry a spare and tools to minor issues and the gas linkage came off and that has now been repaired.

it has 2 electric fuel pumps 1 it runs on 1 is a backup again for the just in case. i do not like to be on the side of the road.

the top is good it has 1 bee bee size hole it does not leak but i keep the top down all summer. it has 1 small parking lot divot and that is it. it has a power drivers seat power front windows after market radio all the gages work new gas tank brakes are still great tires maybe 10 year old but look new.

i have tons of parts that can go with the car if i get the asking price. running spare engine on a stand drums starters alt. trans core bumpers windshield seats wire rims and tires mounted and other items. maybe brake shoes. cluster switches.

the car has been rewired it has fog lights and it even has those lights under the rockers that make it look like it is floating. i turn them on at night at car shows and the kids love them. kind of like back to the future car.

again ask any questions. the car needs nothing but another owner to have some fun with it. and i have had some ask if it is fast. i tell them if your at a stop light and the guy next to reves his engine you lost already. hey it is a 2 speed auto.
