1965 Ford Mustang Fastback

Overview:
Here’s a striking 1965 Mustang Fastback built as a 1966 Shelby GT350H (Hertz) tribute. Finished in the correct Shelby color combo of Sapphire Blue with gold stripes buried under a high-gloss clear coat, this car looks incredible from every angle. This is an original "A" code car that we believe to be a replacement motor. The total mileage is unknown.

Powertrain:

Engine: Small Block Ford with Brodix aluminum heads, polished Cobra valve covers, Cobra aluminum intake, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and aluminum Cobra oil pan.
Pulley System: Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine setup with polished power steering pump, A/C compressor, and alternator (replaced seven months ago).
Cooling: “Be Cool” aluminum radiator with electric fan.
Ignition: Electronic MSD ignition mounted discreetly in the glove box.
Transmission: Tremec T5 with cable clutch; turns 2,000 RPM at 70 MPH in 5th gear.
Rear End: Ford 9-inch with limited-slip differential, 3.50 gears.

Suspension & Brakes:

Coil-over front suspension with Eibach springs for improved handling; traditional leaf springs in the rear.
Power front disc brakes with large rear drums.

Exhaust:

Full ceramic-coated system from headers to side-exiting pipes.

Wheels & Tires:

14-inch Magnum 500 wheels with BFGoodrich Radial T/A’s (205/70/14), new seven months ago with only ~700 miles.

Interior:

Black interior with fold-down rear seat.
3-inch “racing” seat belts, center console, dash-mounted tachometer, and tilt steering wheel.
