What’s special about this listing

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback – 501 Stroker, Nearly 600HP, C6 Automatic, Pro Touring, 728 Miles

There's a version of the 1967 Mustang Fastback that exists in everyone's imagination. Low, wide, powerful, red. This is pretty much exactly that.

This is a newly completed Pro Touring build on a 1967 Mustang Fastback, finished in bright red with a fully restored black interior, a 501 cubic inch stroker V8 producing nearly 600 horsepower, and 728 miles on the clock since completion. It was built to be driven, and it's ready to go from day one.

Under the hood
The engine started life as a Ford 460 and was bored out to 501 cubic inches by Jasper Engines and Transmissions, one of the more respected names in the business for built American V8s. Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake manifold, Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, aluminum high-flow water pump, March Performance polished bracket kit, and MSD ignition. The inner fenders and firewall were painted for a clean, finished engine bay. The C6 Select-Shift automatic transmission was also built by Jasper and pairs well with this much torque. A Currie 9-inch rear end with 3.70 gears and posi-traction puts it all on the road.

Chassis and handling
Mustang II Pro Touring front subframe suspension with tubular upper and lower control arms, rack and pinion power steering, power front disc brakes with sway bar, frame connectors, traction bars, and rear air shocks. A custom mandrel-bent exhaust with chrome tips finishes the underneath. This is a car that was engineered to handle as well as it accelerates, and the suspension setup reflects that.

The exterior
Glossy bright red with a show-quality finish. Custom Shelby-style hood, billet aluminum grille with triple halo headlights, Restomodit LED headlight package, front chin spoiler, chrome accents, billet fuel cap, and custom flush-mounted exhaust exits. Riding on 18-inch staggered MHT wheels with Nitto NT555 tires, the stance is exactly what you want from a Pro Touring Fastback. Wide, planted, and purposeful.

The interior
Black vinyl throughout, fully restored. A 14-inch wood grain steering wheel, custom JME Autometer dash gauges, Autometer Sport Comp transmission temperature gauge in the center console, Hurst V-Matic2 T-shifter, JVC AM/FM/CD radio with kick panel speakers, and fold-down rear seats. Headliner and trunk are both in excellent condition. It's classic Mustang in feel with enough modern touches to make it genuinely usable.

The details
728 miles since completion. This is not a project or a work in progress. It's a finished, sorted, road-ready Pro Touring build that someone can take home and enjoy immediately.
