E-Type Jaguar 2+2 1.5 Series
Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (Bscc) is pleased to present this very attractive 1967 Jaguar E-Type.
The design and style of the Jaguar E-Type have made it iconic. The voluptuous curves of its bodywork and the in-line six-cylinder engine developing more than 250 bhp left their mark on the minds of many sports car enthusiasts. Today, the E-Type remains a benchmark model for Jaguar and a symbol of British automotive excellence.
Rare on the market are the 2+2 1.5 series, fewer than 1,600 of which were produced in left-hand drive. This intermediate series was only in 1967. The front lights are now open and the rear lights and bumpers are identical to those of the 1 series.
This Jaguar has only had 2 owners and has remained in the hands of the last owner for 47 years.
It was delivered new to the Bordeaux dealership, les Etablissements Paul Mercier.
This car has been serviced and maintained in its original condition. Only a partial repaint has been carried out.
The interior is also original, with the patina of its 57 years of age.
The brakes have recently been serviced. The fuel tank and fuel pump are new.
The combination of opalescent silver blue and black leather interior adds to the car's elegance.
The six-cylinder engine purrs perfectly.
The steering is very pleasant, and the car brakes correctly and straight.
Gears shift smoothly. The engine's 265bhp will remind you that the E-type was designed as a sports car, but with two rear seats for this model...
