What’s special about this listing

Offered for sale is this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Tribute, powered by a professionally built and documented 383ci stroker V8 producing 469 horsepower and 414 lb-ft of torque as verified by chassis dyno. The drivetrain consists of a professionally built TH350 automatic transmission and a built 12-bolt rear axle equipped with an Eaton Posi differential, Richmond 3.73:1 gears, and Moser 30-spline axles.

The 383 was assembled using a fully prepped 4-bolt main block, Wiseco forged pistons (10.5:1 compression), race-prepped 5.7-inch connecting rods, a balanced and blueprinted 3.750-inch stroker crankshaft, and new main, rod, and cam bearings throughout. Induction is handled by a Holley 750 Double Pumper carburetor, while a Comp Cams XR288HR-10 hydraulic roller camshaft works with Comp roller lifters and pushrods. Ported and polished S/R iron cylinder heads feature 72cc combustion chambers, 2.02/1.60-inch stainless valves, and competition valve springs.

Supporting components include Super Competition ceramic-coated headers, an aluminum radiator with electric fan, a billet black-anodized electric water pump, MSD distributor and 8.5mm ignition wires, Mallory Comp 9000 coil with High Fire ignition box, oversized oil pan, and dual exhaust.

The TH350 transmission was upgraded with high-performance Borg racing clutches and steels, additional clutch capacity, a hardened intermediate roller race clutch, and a B&M performance torque converter.

The suspension and chassis have also been upgraded with a new front-end rebuild including bushings, ball joints, idler arm, control arm components, bump stops, and front springs. Additional performance upgrades include Competition Engineering traction bars, SSM welded subframe connectors, CPP power steering, Wilwood master cylinder and brake booster, and a G.E.I.S. rear-end support cover.

Finished in a high-quality base/clear paint finish, the exterior is complemented by new chrome, trim, grille, emblems, bezels, and glass. The blue bucket-seat interior features a factory center console with horseshoe shifter, excellent door panels, headliner, visors, dash pad, and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo. The trunk compartment is exceptionally clean, and the undercarriage is solid and well-presented.

The car rides on Rally wheels fitted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

This Camaro represents a substantial investment in quality parts, machine work, and professional assembly. It offers the appearance of a classic Z/28 with the performance of a modern-built 383 stroker, making it equally enjoyable as a weekend cruiser, local show car, or spirited driver. It starts easily, idles well, runs cool, and delivers impressive performance throughout the RPM range.

The paint job is flawless - absolutely perfect - no chips, scratches or dents - just perfect. Also the car has been ceramic coated.

Documentation for the engine, transmission, rear axle, and dyno results accompanies the sale.
