1969 Plymouth Belvedere - A12 Road Runner Tribute

This Road Runner tribute car was professionally rotisserie restored to a level that exceeds factory quality, with careful attention to body panel alignment. All trim was rechromed and polished. A new, lightweight A12 style “lift-off” hood uses factory hood hinges while retaining the requisite hood pins at each corner. Correctly reproduced H-code wheels wear bias ply redline tires, replicating A12 styling.

The black interior is beautifully restored. A factory radio block off plate signals the car’s performance focus. Updates include a hidden bluetooth stereo, modernized gauge internals, and air conditioning by Vintage Air.

Under the hood, a 6.1L 3rd Gen Hemi V8 offers modern performance and reliability. With the orange painted Hemi and deletion of unneeded accessories, it may take a second look at the engine bay to recognize how up to date it is. To honor the A12 theme, an electronically fuel injected Six Pack throttle body setup rests under a factory Six Pack air cleaner. The 4-speed manual transmission, custom built with a 4th gear overdrive, ensures comfortable highway cruising. A heavy duty 8 3/4 Sure-Grip rear axle sends power to the rear wheels.

The suspension has been overhauled and improved with stiffer control arms, Hotchkis tuned Fox Racing shocks, and new leaf springs. Power steering, updated with a new quick ratio steering gear, and braking updated with 4-piston power discs up front are additional handling upgrades.

This car features Diamond Back Classic Redline radial tires that look original but provide a smooth ride when cruising. The original bias ply redline tires come with the car as well at no additional charge.
