What’s special about this listing

INTRODUCTION: This Cheyenne short bed has been treated to a body off frame restoration combining classic style with modern performance. Under the hood is serious horsepower, underneath is a completely restored chassis, and its lowered stance gives it just the right attitude. Best of all, it still retains the nostalgic red-and-white two-tone Cheyenne look that made these C10s so iconic. EXTERIOR: This C10 has the classic, nostalgic look everyone loves. It's a desirable short bed pickup with a lowered stance, giving it just the right attitude. The body is straight, clean, and fits together very nicely, finished in a smooth, glossy red and white two-tone that complements the Cheyenne trim package and its distinctive side moldings. A cowl hood adds a subtle performance touch, while the truck rides on 20-inch American Racing wheels wrapped in General G-MAX performance tires. It appears that the chrome bumpers, trim, moldings, and mirrors have all been replaced, giving the truck a fresh, like new appearance. The fuel filler has been neatly relocated to the rear quarter panel. The windshield has been replaced, the remaining glass is tinted, and modern LED headlights along with a cargo light. INTERIOR: It is every bit as appealing as the exterior, combining classic styling with tasteful upgrades. The bucket seats have been reupholstered with firm, supportive cushions, and between them is a matching buddy seat that folds down into an armrest with cup holders. The instrument panel is new and features a factory style tachometer, while a deluxe steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column. All of the interior metal has been refinished in the same bright red as the exterior, giving the cab a clean look. It also features a new dash pad, a new heater control panel, a deluxe headliner, replaced visors with a lighted vanity mirror, fresh carpet protected by Bow Tie floor mats, and restored door panels with new armrests and handles. For modern entertainment, there's a Boss touchscreen stereo paired with kick-panel speakers and an amplifier mounted under the seat. It's a comfortable, clean, and well-finished interior that's ready to enjoy. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: At the heart of this C10 is a 383 stroker that's reportedly making an impressive 500 horsepower! It's equipped with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock RPM intake, a large dual-feed Holley carburetor, HEI ignition, coated Hooker headers, and a set of tall cast aluminum valve covers dress it up nicely. A modern serpentine front runner system drives the accessories, including air conditioning, power steering, and the alternator, while power brakes add to its drivability. Every component appears fresh and well detailed, including the aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans. Even the windshield washer squirters are hooked up and functional. The engine bay is finished with slick painted metal throughout, making it as clean and attractive as it is powerful. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the bed, the metal is straight and beautifully finished in the same high gloss red as the exterior. The floor features refinished oak wood planks secured with polished stainless steel strips and hardware, giving it a clean appearance. UNDERSIDE: This C10 received a body off frame restoration, and the underside reflects the quality of the build. The frame and chassis components are finished in semi-gloss black, while the underside of the cab is solid, rust-free metal protected with a durable black chip guard coating. The steering and suspension have been completely rebuilt with lowering springs and upgraded front and rear sway bars for improved handling. It features front disc brakes, rear drums, and a functional emergency brake. The fuel system is new with a relocated fuel tank. A great sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers runs beneath the truck. Looking up at the engine, everything is clean and detailed, including a high-torque starter. Power is sent through an upgraded 4L80E overdrive automatic transmission with a FAST EZ-TCU controller, to a rebuilt driveshaft and a rugged 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 posi gears and a chrome cover. Even the underside of the bed is finished with wood slats, making this truck as impressive underneath as it is on top. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale. CONCLUSION: It's the kind of truck that turns heads, sounds great, and is just as much fun to drive as it is to admire! Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership. 815-385-3644 (95 Central) Sales@VoloCars.com - Prompt responses Air conditioning Power steering Power disc brakes 3.73 12 bolt rear Bucket seats Buddy cushion Deluxe wheel Stereo system Tilt column Tachometer Cowl hood Tinted glass 20 Wheels
