What’s special about this listing

INTRODUCTION: This car is absolutely incredible! I say that about a lot of cars, but this one takes it to another level. The mirror finish black with white stripes and interior along with the big chrome wheels and redline tires, makes for a stunning combination. It was recently given a body off frame, rotisserie restoration. EXTERIOR: It has an aggressive stance with an upscale look that's guaranteed to turn heads. Looking closer, the quality is just as impressive. The California body is laser beam straight with outstanding panel fit, and the doors shut like new. There isn't a pimple, dimple, or ripple to be found. The paint is polished like glass- I swear you could read a phone book in its reflection. The white SS stripes are painted on and smooth to the touch, and even the door jambs are finished to the same slick, glossy standard. The weatherstrips, window seals, and vinyl top have all been replaced, while the tinted glass adds to the sleek appearance. It appears that most, if not all, of the chrome and trim has been replaced or restored. A neatly integrated front spoiler gives it a subtle performance look, and the staggered polished wheels really complete the package. It rides on what appear to be 18 inch wheels up front and 20 inch wheels in back, wrapped in performance tires with custom redlines that perfectly complement the car's appearance. INTERIOR: The white interior really pops against the black exterior! The seats have been recushioned and reupholstered, and they're finished with new headrests. The door panels, window cranks, handles, armrests, and ashtrays have been replaced. The dash has been completely restored and tastefully upgraded with modern gauges, electronic slide Vintage Air controls, and a retro style stereo. Up above, the crisp white headliner and sun visors look excellent, complemented by a new rearview mirror and a working dome light. Down below, it features a reproduction center console, fresh, fresh carpet, embroidered Chevelle floor mats, and a tilt steering column topped with a great looking Billet Specialties steering wheel. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is purposefully upgraded around a completely rebuilt 396 V8, bored .030 over for added performance. It features a high-rise aluminum intake, dual-feed Holley carburetor, HEI ignition, and a set of coated headers for improved power and reliability. The front of the engine is outfitted with a serpentine belt system using billet brackets and pulleys, along with polished air conditioning compressor and alternator. It also has power steering and power brakes for effortless driving. An aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps temperatures in check, while tasteful finishing touches like tall aluminum valve covers and billet hood hinges give the engine bay a clean appearance. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb, the finish is just as glossy as the black exterior. A new weatherstrip provides a tight seal. Inside, the metal is exceptionally clean and finished with the correct spatter paint. The battery has been relocated to the trunk, giving the engine a less cluttered look. UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame and placed on a rotisserie, allowing the clean California sheet metal to be prepped and finished in glossy black. The suspension was completely rebuilt with several performance upgrades. Up front are tubular upper and lower control arms, a larger sway bar, and all new springs, shocks, bushings, and ball joints. In back, it features heavy duty lower control arms, adjustable upper control arms, a larger rear sway bar, and new shocks for improved handling. The entire brake system has been replaced and upgraded with four wheel disc brakes, along with a new emergency brake assembly, brake lines, and hoses. A stainless steel dual exhaust system with an X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers delivers a deep, aggressive sound. The entire fuel system has also been replaced. Looking up at the drivetrain, you'll find an extra capacity oil pan and a high torque starter on the engine, a Turbo 400 automatic transmission fitted with a TCI finned aluminum extra capacity pan, a rebuilt driveshaft, and a 12-bolt rear end. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected, test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for sale. CONCLUSION: Warning: If you don't like compliments or attention, don't buy this car! Everywhere it goes, people are going to notice. Whether you're filling up at the gas station, pulling into a local cruise night, or parking at an ice cream shop, this Chevelle is going to steal the spotlight. If that's the kind of ownership experience you're after, this one delivers in a big way. Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting.
