It sold on Bring a Trailer in March 2021 and was later acquired by the seller in October 2023. Finished in Capri Blue with a gray soft top over a tan vinyl interior, it is powered by a 3.9-liter F inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, manually locking front hubs, LED headlights, dual side mirrors, and inward-facing rear jump seats. The truck was repainted in Capri Blue during the Colombian refurbishment, and the body retains the classic utilitarian lines of the FJ40. Maintenance under current ownership has included a throttle cable repair (August 2021), a new battery (November 2023), and a carburetor rebuild (2024). Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case, retaining the simple and durable drivetrain layout that made the FJ40 an off-road icon.
