Fjord blue 3.0 Coupe

A very high quality 3.0 CSi available in timeless Fjord Blue over Tan leather. A beautiful, sorted and excellent driving BMW 3.0 CSi is now available.

The car was restored completely, correctly and very thoroughly by it's last owner who had it since the early 00's. The car was completely stripped, media-blasted, bodywork professionally done and painted from there. Pictures, present, a very thorough job.

At the time the front and rear axles were removed, powdercoated and rebuilt with new bushings, rebuilt brakes and Bilstein suspension. The engine was rebuilt and a 5-speed Sports (Dogleg) gearbox from an 635 CSi was fitted and the differential was rebuilt. This car drives exceptionally well and the drivetrain feels very fresh. The brakes were rebuilt, zinc-plated, new rotors and pads. The enginebay shows perfect and correct sheet-metal in the correct shapes.

We have recently acquired this CSi from this caring owner and completely gone through it. An excellent body with great paint. We've gone through the car technically and fitted a beautiful new interior to bring it to our standard. The result is beautiful!

The quality of the paint is great. The body is very straight and the shutlines/panelgaps are proper. The belt-line chrome trim is new and shining brightly. The chrome around the windows is great and all seals and emblems have been replaced. Straight, shiny bumpers in great condition. Clear headlights, polished taillights make for an impressive E9. The chrome grilles on the bonnet and fenders are brand new.

The interior was beautifully reupholstered by our in-house artisan. A complete job in high quality, supple leather. Front seats and seats reupholstered, a new set of carpets in matching color in the correct loop-style. The doorpanels have been reupholstered and the wood on the dash and doorpanels was restored beautiful. The center console was restored and houses a period corrrect Blaupunkt radio.

The trunk shows it's original grey panels and the tools tray is present and near complete.

We've done a major, major service with all fluids, valve adjustment, all filters, new guibo, transmission mount, waterpump, front brake pads, new fuel hoses, lowering springs, new wheels & tyres, new bulbs for the instrument cluster, oil-pan gasket, new blower-motor, outside mirrors, new sparkplugs, points, condensator, thermostat and much more.
Well over 110 hours invested! Internal invoice present and among the pictures.

The car drives beautiful. Very easy to drive, makes great power and is really dialed in. The quality of body, paint and trim is exceptional and the car makes a great, mint impression.
