Ford Capri RS 2600 “Series 1.5”

The Ford Capri RS 2600 represents the ultimate performance version of the first Capri generation and is rightfully regarded as an icon of the 1970s. This car is a particularly rare Series 1.5 example, one of just 1,050 units ever built. Adding to its desirability, it is a fully numbers matching car, guaranteeing its originality.

Newly delivered in 1973 in France, in the Clermont-Ferrand region, the car has been exceptionally well preserved throughout its life. The bodywork was completely restored and today remains in a very solid condition with correct panel fit, exactly as expected from a carefully executed restoration.

Another highlight is that the car still presents in the exact configuration it left the factory in. Finished in Sebring Red and fitted with the desirable Scheel bucket seats in black RS cloth, it perfectly reflects the sporty character that made the RS 2600 such a standout model when new.

The Capri RS 2600 is undoubtedly one of the most iconic sports coupés of its era.
