Hello,
For sale is our 1974 Jaguar E-type V12 4-speed manual Roadster! Owned by its current owner for the last 38 years, the car has undergone over $75,000 in documented maintenance over its life. It has been driven well but sparingly logging just 5,000 miles since most of the overhaul work that was completed in the 90's.
In 2019, a large mechanical investment was made to ensure its reliability and road worthiness and is more or less how you see it today. It's a great driver's quality car that fires right up and drives wonderfully with the epic V12 + 4-speed pairing. The thermostats were both replaced in preparation of sale along with a paint correction.
Highlights of the more major work are below. The car comes with all of its work documented since 1988. All the engine and powertrain components are original to the car- the matching engine stamp is in the gallery.
Ownership:
Car was purchased by current owner in August 1988 with all service records kept since
Paint & body:
1. Aug 1995: Paint job from Signal Red to Regency Red and replacement of various rubber seals etc
2. Jun 1992: Various panel repairs and sublet of paint and re-upholstery, chrome and other items
Power and drivetrain refurbishment:
Engine- June 1990: block was sent out for honing, crank bore polishing, resurface cylinder heads, new valves
Transmission- June 1990: flywheel, clutch, centerplate replaced
We have operations both in the USA and Canada and offer a full import/export service as well as freight services to all of Canada and the lower 48 states.
